Comped

Privacy Policy

Effective September 2, 2026

Comped is an app for running a card business. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what happens to it. The short version: we collect what the app needs to keep your books, we do not sell it, and you can delete all of it whenever you want.

What we collect

The demo mode collects nothing. Demo data lives only on your phone.

What we use it for

What we do not do

Bank account connections

When you connect a bank account, the connection is made through Stripe Financial Connections. Here is how that works:

Services we rely on

Your records are stored with our database and authentication provider. Card identification and pricing run on our own pricing service, which uses licensed market data sources. Bank connections run through Stripe. These providers process your data only to run the app, under their own security and privacy obligations.

How long we keep it

As long as you have an account, because your records are the product. Delete your account and the records go with it.

Deleting your data

Open the app, go to Account, and tap Delete Account. This permanently deletes your account and every record in it, on your phone and on our servers. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.

Children

Comped is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have legal rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information. The app gives you all three directly: your records are visible in the app, editable in the app, and deletable in the app.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
